There have been a number of dog attacks reported recently. A Florida woman took a video of a pit bull attacking two dogs. She and her daughter took their dog to a park for exercise. First, they saw it attack and kill a yorkie; then it turned on another dog. It took several people to subdue the attacker before it was taken to quarantine.
In Georgia, a nine year old boy and a courageous neighbor were injured when three pit bulls attacked the young boy. The woman went into action to help him; she suffered injuries to her head, face and arms. She has been released from the hospital, but the boy suffered more serious injuries to his face and neck. He is recovering.
In Alabama, a two year old and an adult were hurt when a family pet, a bulldog mix, attacked the child, and a grandfather suffered damage to an artery in his arm. Another family member shot and killed the dog.
A Londonderry, Northern Ireland, worker was attacked by a dog at work and had to have 50 stitches.
Most of us are pet lovers, and most dogs are not dangerous. Nevertheless, we never know when we may encounter a bad dog. Dog Repellers are one option.
